I must be dumb because I am going to buy SIRI stock?

I am going to buy about a thousand SIRI stock, (or Sirius Satellite Radio). I don't have any good reasoning other than ten years from now I think the stock will have risen somewhat and I think the company will survive. Explain to me why I'm right, or a complete moron.
