You're learning basic chemistry (so you have no excuse later in life when you accidentally poison yourself) and math skills (which pretty much any employer, including Subway, will require). Science is figuring out how the world works. Look, you can use basic equations to predict what will happen! Now you can go serve on a school board and vote against including religion in science cl, because you can't use that to predict anything. Now you won't fall for alternative medicine scams because you know they don't have any basis in fact.
