Six days late and nothing is happening?

My LMP was 5/9 and my next period should have been 6/6 but nothing has happened. I took a HPT the day before AF was due and it was a BFN. I tried First Response and the first one seemed defected because nothing was showing up. 30 minutes later I went to take a shower and in the trash there were 2 faint lines. So I took the other with FMU and the screen remained blank. No lines at all appeared. Has anyone been a week late with no symptoms at all and still get a BFP? Just wondering because I am trying and right now I have no signs except mild cramps that I have had for 3 weeks now.
