Evicted two days after the lease was sign because boyfriend is a smoker, he didn't smoke near the apartment?

So, my boyfriend and myself paid the first and last months rent along with a security deposit and then sign a lease on an apartment which at first seemed so perfect. We began moving our things in but decided we weren't going to move in until our furniture arrived. In the lease it clearly states that there is no smoking IN the apartment. Today we arrived at our apartment to find a note on the door saying " Hilary and Rod, don't move anything else into my apartment. We need to talk. I'll be back around 7 tonite." (yes he spelled tonight incorrectly) Needless to say we showed up at the apartment 15 minutes early thinking that our landlord needed to speak with us about the hardwood floors or something never to realize that he was going to evict us on our third day of being his tenants. We waited in our car until he arrived and he rudely said that he wants our stuff out of his apartment by tomorrow (the day we are leaving for vacation) and he will reimburse us our money. His "reasoning" is that someone he knows saw Rodney (my boyfriend) smoking. Not on his property but around town. Rodney has been trying to quit smoking for a very long time mainly because i am seven months pregnant and I don't want our child to be raised thinking it's okay to smoke and also because he's tired of having to pay for cigarettes, smelling like them, and that horrible smokers cough. Rodney rarely smokes anymore, only when he needs that little bit of nicotine to keep him going but he never smokes around me anymore because he's actually putting effort into quiting. We did some research and from what we gathered we can't be convicted unless we broke the lease or didn't pay the rent, but the thing is we didn't break the lease at all and we are paying multiple months of rent in advanced! The landlord claims that he has the right to just rip up the lease and have that be the end of it, but we are hoping we can take legal action. We just spent almost $3,000 on stuff to match that apartment and now what are we suppose to do with it all since we have to move back in with his parents. What i am trying to ask is, does he have a legitimate reason to evict us? He claims he has 3 days to change his mind on the lease but it says nowhere on the internet if he is telling the truth. Please help. We want to know if it's even worth taking legal action.

It was really good, it had lots of suspense and kept making me want to read more and more. The story gave you a real good thought of what the people in the story looked like and their personalty. I very rarely read books, but this one really drew me in and made me just want to read more and more of it. The only thing I didn't understand in this story was Marilyn's dream, I didn't understand how it tyed into the story but I think to understand it you would have to read the whole story. Help! i'm scared to canter again?

sometime in January, I can't remember when, my horse and I were schooling in the ring. He decided a few strides into the canter to go all bucking bronco on me. I was safely still on his back, but pissed off that he would do that. I had my friend ride him the next day and he did the same thing to her. I was concerned maybe he was lame, but no signs of any pain, inflamation or anything. So I decided to lay off canter work for a while. That is what I have been doing, but I desperatly just want to canter again, but I'm scared. And I don't want my nervousness to carry through to my riding because he will feel it right at that crucial time when I ask for the canter. Whereas I can go on to Outlook and access any attachments from all the rest of my regular emailers, with this one person the email comes through to Outlook without the attachment. I then have to click out of Outlook and use my internet browser to access the Yahoo!Xtra Pro Mail site where I can then access the attachment by clicking on the paper clip OR I can forward the email to myself and return to Outlook where I will now have the email complete with attachment which I can now access. I just finished reading The Host by Meyer. I thought it was a really good book and it only took me five days to finish it. I have also read It by King. It is a very good book too but since you need to read so many books I would exclude It unless you read really really fast, being that It is one of King's longest books. Should parents receive monetary incentives to help improve their parenting?

Why should they get paid to parent their own kids????!!! Any caring parent will do these things if there is any way feasible that they can. Plan and simple. If they don't do those things, really should get them investigated by child welfare. Esp when it comes to your kids learning and school and such. Parent teacher night is not always easy as some have to work nights or evenings. Parent meetings, well so far the 2 I went to with my new son were a joke. The foster/adopt support group meeting is 10xs better and more informational. But they do need to make sure the kids go to cl, as well as do the homework. Tutoring is great if you can afford it. I can't but I help my son with his school work and its not a problem. Also parents should have to play with and spend time with their kids! Kids need that interaction!!!! Or else if they can't (most likely its a choice really,) they should be required to get someone to do it for them so the kids get proper interaction and don't end up doing a m shooting spree at school.

I can only answer the first one off the top of my head.... If DNA isn't replicated exactly, then you can have problems down the road. If the new DNA replicates, and there is another slight change in it, then eventually you could have completely new DNA. Since this doesn't happen, you usually die from some mutation or disease caused by having screwed up DNA. Even if you don't die, then you can get some pretty weird mutations.

Steak is perfect for date night, but for a football game snack foods go great! I would do a pot of homemade chili & hot dog bar, along with wings, taco dip, chips, etc. A superbowl party is an all day event, so with finger food & crock pot items you won't be tied up in kitchen all day - you'll be able to spend some one on one time with your lady interest. Don't forget plenty of cold beer & wine for the ladies in case they don't care for beer.

i don't think you are a bad owner at all ... i foster chihuahuas and i know they can be quite clingy ... but really your chihuahua just needs some more focused training and maybe some more exercise and outside stimulation ... having you gone for such long days can be hard on a dog that does not have enough physical and mental stimulation (so before you leave the dog for a long day, walk the dog, run a bit, tire him out before leaving) ... you should consider taking the dog to training cles as that is beneficial for most dogs and owners ... i have a jack russell and she is very in my face if she has not had enough exercise ... so before i want to settle in to work (i work from home) i will take her and exercise her till tired, so when we are indoors she is not constantly looking at me for entertainment, she sleeps ... so you might consider a good walk before you want to work on your projects ... and when the dog wants up on your lap at the computer, never ever let her up unless YOU make the decision ... if she keeps trying to get up, no anger, no frustration, and as much patience you can muster, just keep putting the dog back in the bed ... you can also train a dog not to lick ... when she does it pull your hand away and act grossed out ... if she continues move the dog where she can not lick ... my first dog would lick so much it drove me so i trained my current dog not to lick ... and if she tries to push in on affection with the cat, i would push the dog away ... if it keeps coming back i would put it on the floor ... chihuahuas are a bit needy but i have also found with patience and expectations of better behaviour, at least the ones i have fostered, they all get it ... the only thing i can see you might work on is being more firm with the chihuahua ... and don't feel bad about being firm, because it is owners that are not firm that give me the opportunity to foster chihuahuas given up by their families ... your job as owner is to provide shelter, food, love, exercise ... it is not your job to give lovings 24/7 ... it is not your job to ignore your other pets ... it is your job to train your chihuahua to be the type of dog you can love and look forward to coming home to ... good luck ...

So, no more dog bones for them unless homemade, and now I give them all only organic food with high standards, made in the U.S. wholly. My three y.o. son had reflux for 1 year. All the symptoms sound like reflux except no wt loss. My son was fed and he would fuss a lot and shoot vomit. Eventually, he stopped gaining wt. The doc can do a simple test at the hospital to tell if its reflux. The baby swallows barium (thick white substance) and the tech takes xray pics as the baby swallows. With my son, it would go down but shoot back up. Try keep the head of crib up, don't lay her down after eating, and ask your doc about the barium swallow test. In the fall I will be a freshman in college and attending a local community college but I want to transfer to ASU after my sopre year. Usually if your HDTV is hooked up to the DVD player via HDMI cables you will not have that problem, a lot of the times its how you have the player hooked up to the TV different types of connections have different speeds and ability to sync usually og RCA is the least desirable digital Tos link and HDMI is the best and most accurate as far as sync is concerned... I have never had a problem with latency using HDMI it has only occurred using RCA og cables and a digital connection at the same time...the problem could be in the different ways that you have the two DVD players hooked up to the TV....if one is og and the other video-digital and sound og there is your answer, your DVD players must be connected exactly the same to the same TV to understand if its the DVD player or the TV or the type of connection.

I use a combination of pine cones (which light fire really well) newspaper and wood. The trick is to build/layer it all properly. I would do pine cones, then some paper, then wood. Another layer of paper and pine cones and wood again. You want to make sure the embers get hot enough on the bottom to keep and get the fire going. While the fire is starting you can blow into the fire to get the embers going. Hope this helps.

Six days late and nothing is happening?

My LMP was 5/9 and my next period should have been 6/6 but nothing has happened. I took a HPT the day before AF was due and it was a BFN. I tried First Response and the first one seemed defected because nothing was showing up. 30 minutes later I went to take a shower and in the trash there were 2 faint lines. So I took the other with FMU and the screen remained blank. No lines at all appeared. Has anyone been a week late with no symptoms at all and still get a BFP? Just wondering because I am trying and right now I have no signs except mild cramps that I have had for 3 weeks now.

My 1 year old wont eat?

My daughter used to eat a lot of different foods. Over the last few weeks she has started refusing food. She wont eat anything I make her and she also turns her nose up at Jar food. Why are people content with two children these days?

Rich people probably wouldn't be rich if they had a big family....? I think I want to stop at 2 kids because it is more convenient to fit in a home or car, two parents (one for each kid), I have two hands (one for each kid). Having only 2 kids means that we can provide more for the kids that we do have such as holidays for example, we could easily afford private education if necessary for two kids rather than 4. I just feel that having 2 kids is better for them and for us for a few reasons. They will also get more attention this way. I don't think it's selfish at all, how can it be if we stop at 2 for the benefit of the two children we already have?

Im so fed up with my life, i just want to die?

Im almost 16 now, an my life to most people i bet they would think is great, but i dont know what is wrong with me anymore and i wont ever admitt to myself i may have some form of depression. I was always really happy and in a general good mood until this year started, it just got worse an worse. My whole family and a group of friends used to go on holidays together ( all the parents were so close and us kids grew up together) one of the older kids, a girl, jess, she was 17 and died, she got hit by a car in january, none of us ever speak anymore and it crushed us all. As many of us are getting on with our lives, i lost my virginity in feburary and got in a serious , lasting relationship with a really nice guy, my family liked him and he lived closed by, we were so close, but he ended it out of nothing months later and admitted months after the breakup he just " used" me. That to me was so damaging, he was someone i trusted and shared many memories with and the fact i lost my virginity with him, really upset me. Its coming to the time when i have to p my exams now, its my last chance, and im struggling, i cant p my maths no matter how hard i try and i need it, teachers are giving me such a hard time.
